BURBERRY: A Special Summer Space Unveiled at Hôtel Belles Rives

Burberry announces its partnership with Hôtel Belles Rives, located on the French Riviera. The hotel's iconic beach club and terraces will serve as the stage for a special summer experience, embodying British spirit.

Hôtel Belles Rives is known as a historic summer retreat where cultural figures and creators, including Ernest Hemingway and Gertrude Stein, gathered in the early 20th century. It is also where F. Scott Fitzgerald, author of 'The Great Gatsby,' spent his later years and began writing his novel 'Tender Is the Night' (1934). The protagonist of that novel is also known to have worn a Burberry coat.

Burberry, which values its connection to nature, has repeatedly expressed waterside culture. Founder Thomas Burberry himself loved nature and designed apparel and tailoring for yachting enthusiasts in the first half of the 20th century. The 2026 'High Summer' collection also features Burberry check swimwear and coastal motifs, inspired by the brand's enduring spirit of adventure.

In this partnership, the hotel's Art Deco splendor is reinterpreted through Burberry's unique perspective. The iconic Burberry check is expressed in the impressive blue that symbolizes Hôtel Belles Rives, adorning the hotel's interior. This special check is also applied to the original lift from the 1920s, and custom logos are placed on the private pier and beach club doors.

Guests can enjoy the unique atmosphere of the French Riviera, cooling off with special Burberry ice cream on the famous terrace or watching the sunset over the Mediterranean at 'Bar Fitzgerald.' Furthermore, during the summer, special experiences by the Burberry brand will be held. A variety of activities, including water skiing, said to have originated in coastal regions, will be available.
