"This work is about the downfall of Nadan, who is described as a 'finished man,' but Taelmin, the viewpoint character, also changes. In the process of playing 'the role that is demanded' within the entertainment industry, both Nadan and Taelmin lose themselves and deviate from their original selves. It's a dual structure where the narrator, Taelmin, and the narrated, Nadan, both transform. And this isn't limited to 'entertainers' like them; perhaps we who live in general society are also like that."
