◼︎ First Essay Collection by Culinary Expert/Registered Dietitian Akari Hasegawa to Be Released!
Hasegawa, whose recipe for 'Steamed Hamburger Steak' went viral again last September, saw her X followers surge from 400,000 to over 900,000. She was active as a child actor on programs like NHK E-tele's 'Tensai Terebi-kun.' After retiring from the entertainment industry, she pursued higher education and obtained her registered dietitian license. She is now active as a popular culinary expert, publishing numerous recipe books and appearing in magazines and online.
Her first essay collection, 'Tako, Celery, Avocado,' is scheduled for release on June 10th. This book is filled with the reasons why Hasegawa became a culinary researcher, covering topics from her childhood eating habits and her days as a child actor to family mealtime stories, her first encounter with recipe books, and tales of the onigiri she made for friends. It also includes her mother's recipes that she enjoyed as a child, as well as simple 'nameless' recipes she makes on holidays. Please look forward to it!

My first essay collection, which I've been diligently writing and compiling, will be published.
What I ate, what I liked, and how I approached cooking since I was a child. How cooking and recipes have fulfilled and saved me.
By reflecting on these in this book, I hope to convey my feelings about cooking and recipes anew.

Culinary expert, Registered Dietitian. Born in 1996. Active as a child actor and talent from age 10 to 20. Retired from the entertainment industry upon marriage in 2018. Subsequently studied nutrition at junior college and university, obtaining her registered dietitian license. Began her full-time career as a culinary expert in 2022. Her recipe posts on social media have garnered immense popularity, and she is now active across books, magazines, and online platforms. Her published works include 'Itowari Gohan: Comfort Food for Tired Minds and Bodies' (KADOKAWA), 'Nosegohan to Kakegohan: Easy Recipes for Days When You Have No Time or Energy' (Shufu to Seikatsusha), and 'Personal Mook Akari Hasegawa DAILY RECIPE Vol. 1-4' (Fusosha), among many others.
