Bungeishunju's 'Sports Graphic Number' Issue 1140, 'Shohei Ohtani Made the World Get Serious,' Released March 26

Bungeishunju will publish "STILL PUNK," a collection of works by embroidery artist Junko Oki, whose countless stitches fill the pages, today, March 26th.

As soon as Oki's first commercially published collection, "PUNK," was released at the end of 2014, it was acclaimed by connoisseurs not only in Japan but also in Belgium, Switzerland, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, and Taiwan. "PUNK" has become an unusually long-selling book that continues to be reprinted. Today, the long-awaited second collection, "STILL PUNK," will be published.

"Punk" is also evident in the book's design.

From over 10,000 photographs, this full-color book covers ten years of work since the publication of "PUNK," as well as her daily life with her cat, which is a source of inspiration for her creations. The design is such that "STILL PUNK" has a strong presence both on its own and next to "PUNK," and the foil on the slipcase is finished by one of Japan's most skilled craftsmen, who shaves each one with a razor.
