Following the Mother's Day castellas delivered through the Moomin and Bunmeido collaboration in 2024 and 2025, we have received warm feedback.

This is our Special Castella, meticulously hand-baked by our artisans.

The castella, characterized by its rich egg flavor and moist texture, features Little My with a slightly bashful smile holding a flower, along with the words "Thanks Mom."

It is finished as an elegant item, befitting a precious Mother's Day gift.

Castella Crafted with the Skill of Bunmeido Artisans

The "Moomin Mother's Day Special Castella 1B Size" uses our Special Castella, which achieves a deep richness and moist, melt-in-your-mouth texture by using a yolk-to-white ratio of 5:3 and minimizing the amount of flour.

Artisans bake each one by hand.

To achieve a fine, moist, and fluffy texture, the batter must be cooked evenly, which is a point where the artisan's skill truly shines.

The "Moomin Mother's Day Castella Size S" uses our Honey Castella®, characterized by its elegant aroma and sweetness of honey.

By adding smooth honey, you can enjoy a moist texture without the need for granulated sugar.

The process of applying the chocolate design on top of the castella is also done by hand.

It is carefully printed as it is difficult to create fine design lines cleanly.

We deliver these products, a culmination of various techniques, to everyone.
