Tokyu to Host 'SHIBUYA ART WEEKEND' Interactive Art Event at Shibuya Hikarie in July

Over three days on Saturday, July 4, Saturday, July 11, and Sunday, July 12, 2026, Tokyu Corporation will host the event 'My Gaze, Your Gaze: SHIBUYA ART WEEKEND' (Planned and Produced by Bunkamura / me and you) at the 8/COURT on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie.

Starting with the exhibition 'The Miracle of the Gaze: Adventures of Japanese Women Photographers' (Hosted by Bunkamura) which opens on July 4, various cultural facilities of Tokyu Corporation and Bunkamura will serve as stages to expand various exhibitions and screening projects across the streets of Shibuya this summer.

Among these, 'My Gaze, Your Gaze: SHIBUYA ART WEEKEND' will be a festival-like three days where both creators and observers can enjoy together.

Hoping to create a place where individual gazes intersect and new landscapes are born, we will deliver a packed program including cross-talks, live music, a photo book fair, workshops, and an exhibition collecting memories of the streets of Shibuya.

*July 4 will feature cross-talks and live music. July 11 and 12 will host the photo book fair, workshops, and exhibitions during the day, and cross-talks or live music in the evening.

◆ Gaze Talks
Date: July 4 (Sat), July 11 (Sat) *Time TBA | Admission: 500 yen (tax included)
Dialogues between participating artists of 'The Miracle of the Gaze' and creators from different genres, and cross-talks about films and video works themed around 'the female gaze'.
▶ Scheduled Performers: Yurie Nagashima (Photographer), Aya Fujioka (Photographer), Yui Kiyohara (Film Director/Video Artist), Ayaka Wada (Poetry and Word Artist), Yukkyun, Kimi Idonuma (Hadakeru Kousen), among others.

A time to listen to rich landscapes woven by music and share that moment.

◆ SHIBUYA PHOTO BOOK FAIR (Free Admission)
Date: July 11 (Sat) 11:30-19:00, July 12 (Sun) 11:30-17:00
A two-day photo book fair gathering bookstores based in Shibuya and shops connected to the area. Photo books, books, ZINEs, and miscellaneous goods selected under the themes of 'women's gazes' and 'the city and the gaze' will be lined up.

- 'Tsume wo Nuru Hito' (Photo Nail Painting from 1 Finger)
Date: July 11 (Sat) 11:30-19:00
Nail artist 'Tsume wo Nuru Hito' will paint nails using color schemes from your favorite photos.
