Tokyu Bunkamura Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") operates the multi-cultural complex "Bunkamura" (located in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which receives continuous support from companies known as Official Suppliers, acting as a cheering squad.

Unlike traditional single-event sponsorships, the Official Supplier system is a sponsorship model where multiple companies support the operation of Bunkamura itself, with the aim of long-term support and nurturing of culture and arts.

This initiative garnered attention as Japan's first attempt to continuously support and nurture culture and arts, going beyond the conventional framework of corporate patronage, which primarily focused on one-off event sponsorships. It has now become widely established in society. Furthermore, Bunkamura's diverse cultural activities and its unique operating system, including the Official Supplier system, have been highly praised, leading to the receipt of the "Mecenat Grand Prize" in 1999 (organized by the Association for Corporate Support of the Arts).

For 37 years since its opening in 1989, many companies have endorsed this philosophy, enabling Bunkamura to continuously create high-quality services and original programs, delivering special experiences to numerous customers.

In addition to the current supporting Official Suppliers—Omron Social Solutions Co., Ltd., Kajima Corporation, Kirin Group, Daiwa Securities Group Inc., Nitori Co., Ltd., and Tokyu Group—Taiyo Life Insurance Company will newly join from April 2026, bringing the total number of companies to seven.

Although Bunkamura is temporarily closed, with the exception of some facilities, due to a development plan for an adjacent site, it continues its activities as a hub for cultural and artistic dissemination with the strong backing of this cheering squad. It is expanding diverse cultural and artistic projects in Shibuya, along the Tokyu Line, and at various Tokyu Group facilities during the closure period.

Bunkamura will continue to promote excellent culture and arts to a wider audience with the support of its Official Suppliers.
