Announcement Regarding Continued Sales of Blu-ray Drives

Buffalo Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Hiroyuki Maki) announced on February 26, 2026, its "Announcement of Discontinuation of Blu-ray Drive Sales." While sales were scheduled to end in July 2026, we have now decided to continue sales as additional components for the affected products have become procurable.

Sales will be limited to existing stock once production using the additional components concludes.

Furthermore, due to the impact of rising costs associated with the global semiconductor shortage and raw material price increases, as stated in our "Notice of Product Price Revision" announced on June 17, 2026, sales will be conducted at the revised new prices starting July 1, 2026. We appreciate your understanding.

Regarding Sales End Date

The originally planned sales end date (July 2026) has been changed, and we will continue to sell products manufactured with additionally procured components.

Sales will be limited to existing stock once production using the additional components concludes.

Sales will end sequentially as stock runs out.
