Buddy Team primarily conducts home visit support activities in Tokyo with the aim of preventing child abuse.

Since 2007, we have been visiting families struggling with childcare due to various circumstances, providing support with childcare, housekeeping, transportation, and academic assistance, thereby staying close to parents and children who tend to become isolated.

Through our continuous activities, we have encountered a great number of parents and children.

Families facing difficulties in raising children often have diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including financial hardship, mental and physical health issues of parents and children, illness or disability, domestic violence victimization, and single-parent households.

These families become isolated and may find it difficult to seek help on their own when they are unable to move forward alone.

No one is to blame. This is not an individual responsibility but a societal issue.

Nothing will change by continuing to blame someone or some organization.

It is necessary to proactively reach out and deliver support to families in need.

There are things we can do.

There are things we can do precisely because we are not child consultation centers, local governments, or specialized professionals.

About Certified NPO Buddy Team

Established in 2007. With the motto "Never let parents and children be isolated," we provide home visit support mainly in Tokyo. We work alongside families as their "buddy" (companion), offering support for child abuse prevention and single-parent families in cooperation with government agencies and other organizations.
