We, Buddy Team, conduct home-visit support activities mainly in Tokyo with the aim of preventing abuse.

We visit families who are having a hard time raising children for various reasons and provide childcare, housekeeping, transportation, and learning support. We have been continuing this activity since 2007, standing by parents and children who tend to become isolated.

In continuing our activities, we have met so many parents and children.

Due to financial distress, physical and mental health issues of parents and children, illness or disability, DV victims, single parenthood, etc.,

families struggling with parenting have various backgrounds and circumstances, become isolated,

and it can become difficult for them to manage on their own and seek help themselves.

No one is at fault. It is not an individual's responsibility but a societal issue.

Nothing will change by continuing to blame someone or some institution.

It is necessary for us to take action and deliver support to families in need.

There are things we can do.

There are things we can do precisely because we are not a child guidance center, a local government, or a professional.

Established in 2007. With the motto "Don't let parents and children be isolated," we develop home-visit support mainly in Tokyo. We provide support that stands by families as their "buddy" (companion), collaborating with the government and other organizations for abuse prevention and single-parent family support.
