Celebrities who love trains and travel enjoy various trips on "Tomochika & Reiji's Fantasy Train."

On Tuesday, June 30th, it's the second part of the "Koyasan Trip via Nankai Electric Railway" with world-renowned saxophonist Kohei Ueno, a huge train enthusiast. This time, he visits a spot in a post town that train fans can't miss! In the World Heritage site of Koyasan, he enjoys a surprising lunch based on Buddhist vegetarian cuisine. Furthermore, at Kongobu-ji Temple, he is awestruck by the vast rock garden, but everywhere he goes, trains come to mind. How will Tomochika and Reiji Nakagawa react to his "train-heavy" comments?

Backtracking from the Final Station

Last time, Ueno enjoyed a luxurious train journey on "GRAN Tenku." This time, he heads to Koyasan, but upon arriving at the station at the foot of the mountain, he inexplicably travels back along the same line. He heads to the nearest station that prospered as a post town. "It's right after exiting the ticket gate..." he says, entering a room in the station building. Reiji also remarks, "This place is famous," and the room has been converted into a hotel. Ueno imagines spending time in this room, with the station platform visible just outside the window. Meanwhile, Reiji is intrigued by a door with a special mechanism. Tomochika then fantasizes about a dramatic moment that evokes a vivid scene. Each of them savors the essence of their fantasy journey.

Now, finally, to Koyasan. He heads towards the sacred peak at an altitude of 850 meters via cable car. The scenery outside the window is surrounded by nature, but Ueno focuses on a train-related point. It doesn't disappoint. Upon arrival, a mystical, foggy landscape welcomes Ueno. For lunch, he has ramen made with sesame tofu. He savors the protein-rich, Buddhist vegetarian-style dish. Despite the rain, Ueno is impressed by a legend of Kobo Daishi Kukai related to rain.

At Kongobu-ji Temple, Ueno marvels at the breathtaking view of the vast rock garden, Banryutei. However, he quickly connects it to trains, muttering, "I want to do this." What is this fantasy plan? In the Rokkaku-kyozo, a building housing Buddhist scriptures, he imagines a certain sound reminiscent of trains. However, it's not all about trains. True to his musical nature, he also shares stylish philosophies related to sound.

An Overly Luxurious Temple Lodging

The final destination of the trip is a temple lodging facility that accommodates pilgrims. Ueno is shown to a lavishly decorated room, far from the simple image of temple lodgings. "Am I really allowed to stay in a room like this?" he asks, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

Ueno, whose private life is occasionally revealed on the show, such as owning three luxury cars, sparks the curiosity of Tomochika and Reiji regarding his glamorous lifestyle. At the temple lodging, Ueno enjoys the only hot spring in Koyasan and casually expresses a wish. How does Reiji react?
