This program is literally a 'radio program to watch'. Based on a Nippon Broadcasting System radio show where listeners can enjoy the exquisite combinations of singing—including KaWang's debut song 'Kira Kira', solos, and duets—and talk segments, it broadcasts the familiar, intimate feel and Showa-era atmosphere of radio directly to television.

Songs Before Bedtime

A late-night monologue song sung in an empty studio. In a studio enveloped in silence, one member appears each time to sing a masterpiece from the Heisei or Showa era. The broadcast time is 5 minutes. As Japan's shortest music program, it delivers a time of 'totonoi' (relaxation and alignment), snuggling up to your moments before falling asleep.

What is KaWang? A group 'KaWang' (read as the Romanization of 'Singing King' in Korean) formed by five members: Masaya, TAKUYA, Shin, Juni, and Shinnosuke Kimoto. They were selected from the finalists of the survival audition program 'Active Utawang JAPAN' (Geneki Utawang JAPAN), which determines Japan's strongest singing king and was broadcast on BS Nittele in July 2025. Their debut mini-album 'Kira Kira', released on February 27th, reached a peak of No. 4 on the Oricon chart!
