BEAST X, which qualified 3rd in the regular season, started the semi-final series on Monday, April 6, 2026, with Daisuke Suzuki securing a brilliant top finish, quickly rising to the top spot. Suzuki continued to clinch three more top finishes, bringing great momentum to the team as its main pillar. Geki Shimoishi, who scored 614 points in the regular season and was crowned MVP, also played a monstrous role in leading the team, achieving a "Daisangen" (Big Three Dragons) yakuman (maximum hand) in the semi-finals. Kana Nakada also completed her role as a point-getter with her awakened "delicate yet bold offense." Furthermore, Captain Rio Tojo not only supported the team with unwavering stability but also dedicated herself as a mood maker in the waiting room even when she wasn't playing. Although there were tough moments when their ranking temporarily dropped, the team's exceptional teamwork, with players complementing each other, resulted in them securing +376.7 points in their third season, M.League 2025-26, and achieving their first-ever advancement to the Finals.
The Final Series, starting on Monday, May 4, will be fought with full effort in all 16 matches, aiming for victory until the very end, together with all the fans who "wolf-cheer" for them, under this year's team slogan, "Hunt, the Summit."

Even when I played in the playoffs during my Sega Sammy Phoenix days, there were fewer games back then, so I actually didn't have much playoff experience. This is my first time reaching the Finals since joining BEAST X, so I'm incredibly happy just to have advanced. In the semi-finals, I relied heavily on my teammates, and I feel strongly that I was carried by them. So, in the Finals, I want to properly achieve results as captain to repay my teammates, and to all the fans who welcomed me back to M.League with "welcome back" in my first year, I want to show results and make it the best repayment. I will do my best.

The regular season was tough, so I'm frankly relieved to have recovered some points in the semi-finals. However, the Finals will bring a different flavor. The higher the stage, the more I want to perform, and I feel that I became a professional mahjong player to win on such stages, so I want to show my unique style of mahjong and win in the Finals. The Finals are finally here, and I'm looking forward to them as it's my first time, and I think the fans who usually "wolf-cheer" for us are also looking forward to it. It's a short 16-game battle, so there will be players in form and out of form, but when we're losing, we'll endure, and when we're winning, we won't be complacent, and we'll bring points as a team, so I'd be happy if you could "wolf-cheer" for the entire team. Thank you.

I played in 5 games in the semi-finals, but the result was a slight minus, and my contribution to the team was low, so I strongly feel that I want to make up for that from now on. In the Finals, I think we can win if 2 out of the 4 players explode, so I want to do what I can to become one of them. BEAST X is a team where all four players have participated in games most equally compared to other teams. I want to fight in a way that all four players play, win the championship, and can sincerely say, "We won as a team of four."

The semi-finals were a turbulent month, and yet BEAST X maintained a stable performance. However, looking at the M.League as a whole, I witnessed teams that had about the same points as us at the start of the semi-finals reaching the borderline, and I felt that each game was heavy and scary. I myself had a thrilling game where I pulled a bottom rank below the box, but afterwards, when my teammates took the top spot and covered for me, I truly felt the goodness of teamwork. The Finals will be an even shorter battle than before, and results and rankings will fluctuate in an instant, so we must play even more carefully. So, I want to do my best no matter what. For the past two years, we haven't even made it to the semi-finals, let alone the Finals, so finally...
