BS Code Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo), which develops and provides the nursing care/nursing record system and home-visit nursing record billing system "NASRECO," exhibited at the Medical, Nursing Care & Welfare EXPO (Medical Japan Osaka 12th) held at Intex Osaka for three days from March 10 (Tuesday) to 12 (Thursday), 2026, showcasing a hands-free business support solution utilizing smart AI glasses.

At this exhibition, we began accepting free trial applications and offered hands-on experience with the smart AI glasses.

What is particularly noteworthy is that engineers observed real user experiences during the exhibition, made functional improvements, and on the third day, implemented and released a new function that allows users outside the nursing care industry to also make nursing care records.

The overwhelming speed unique to a startup, utilizing the exhibition venue as a real-time development site, attracted attention.

■ Solution Overview — Ending the Era of "Stopping Your Hands for Records"

It is projected that there will be a shortage of approximately 250,000 nursing care workers in FY2026 and 570,000 in FY2040 (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare).

Both hands are occupied during meal and bathing assistance, delaying records; foreign staff struggle with recording in Japanese; and record quality varies depending on the person in charge — BSCode is directly tackling these three challenges.

Three axes of solution:
● Hands-Free (Completely Hands-Free): Real-time recording completed by voice alone
● Language-Free (Zero Language Barrier): Real-time translation supporting over 89 languages enables foreign staff to record with equal quality
● Gap-Free (No Variation in Record Quality): AI automatically generates standardized data, ensuring consistent quality for everyone

The nursing care record system "NASRECO" integrates with Rokid smart AI glasses, automatically registering nursing care records by simply speaking, such as "Mr./Ms. Yamada 101 was singing."

■ EXPO Exhibition Report — Over 300 People Experienced, Product Evolved in 3 Days

Medical, Nursing Care & Welfare EXPO (Medical Japan Osaka 12th) exhibition booth

"The exhibition is not a showcase, but a development site."

Smart AI glasses "NASGlass" are equipped with multiple functions such as voice activation, recording, photo taking, intercom function, and nurse call reception.

At the exhibition, over 300 people experienced voice activation, recording, and photo taking.

The BSCode engineering team continuously observed the real reactions and operations of visitors to the booth during the exhibition.

▶ Day 1 & Day 2: Collecting real user feedback

Diverse visitors, including nursing home managers, on-site staff, and medical professionals, tried on and experienced the smart AI glasses. Real-time feedback such as "It takes time to get used to the operability" and "Can it be used by people who are not good at thinking about records?" was provided to the engineers.

▶ Day 3: New function implemented and released

Based on the collected feedback, engineers immediately made modifications, and on the final day of the exhibition, officially implemented a new function that allows users outside the nursing care industry to use the voice recording function.

Operability was improved, and the specifications were made such that even people without medical or welfare knowledge can make records without having to think about the content to be recorded in advance. The new function demonstrated its potential for deployment in a wide range of use cases, such as for technical intern trainees and new nursing care staff, who can make records smoothly.

Development engineer Utagawa commented, "In the nursing care industry, productivity improvement, ICT adoption, and AI utilization are trending. However, what we aim for is beyond mere efficiency. It's not enough to just 'make things easier' by introducing tools. We aim for a world where care improvement itself continues to cycle as a system. The fact that we were able to demonstrate that anyone can record at this EXPO is a testament to our engineering speed and BSCode's stance of continuously refining products with users."
