This time, Haruna Kondo (Harisenbon) and Takashi Watanabe (Kinryu) return as 'B-Food Explorers,' diving once again into the world of B-cuisine!

Haruna Kondo visits the area around Nishigokoku Station in Suginami Ward, Tokyo. Amid clusters of izakayas and dotted with stylish cafes and unique lifestyle shops, she discovers a restaurant with a standout B-menu. She heads to 'Shumairunba,' a hidden gem known for its shumai, to savor a beloved B-menu that rivals the popularity of its A-menu counterpart.

Meanwhile, Takashi Watanabe heads to the Ueno district in Tokyo. In a quiet alley nestled among numerous yakiniku restaurants, stands the long-established 'Tokyoen.' Here, Watanabe enjoys a B-menu specially designed so 'Ueno’s salarymen can eat until their stomachs are full.'

Filled with anticipation about the people she’ll meet and the B-meals she’ll discover, she walks through the streets. Several locals greet her with cheerful 'Konnichiwa!' along the way. Describing Nishigokoku as a 'warm town,' Haruna immediately experiences the kind, welcoming atmosphere she imagined.

She had heard that 'Shumairunba,' where she would enjoy the B-meal, had a traditional Japanese house-style interior. But upon arrival, she’s met with a surprising sight! Letting out an 'Eeeh?!' in surprise, she steps inside to find a cozy, wood-toned space with a calm, unified interior design. Assuming the restaurant must have been around for decades, she asks the owner—only to learn another unexpected fact.

The B-meal here centers around the shop’s signature dish: shumai. While the A-menu also features shumai as the main attraction, a clear difference between the two menus is revealed. Torn between the appeal of the A-menu, Haruna ultimately orders the B-meal. The shop proudly sells up to 1,000 shumai on busy days, all made to order—filling wrapped in dough and steamed fresh. Every morning, staff prepare large batches of filling, and with expert skill, they judge the perfect moment to steam them. Finally, the ultimate freshly wrapped and steamed shumai are served.

After learning about each lunch menu from the owner, Haruna confidently orders the B-meal.

When the long-awaited B-meal arrives, Haruna’s face lights up. Seeing the array of tempting dishes beyond just shumai, viewers will surely understand why she’s beaming. Takashi Watanabe of Kinryu heads to Ueno, Taito Ward, in search of B-cuisine. Ueno is a gourmet town packed with world-famous tourist spots like Ameyoko and Ueno Zoo, alongside countless diverse restaurants. Ueno holds nostalgic memories for Watanabe, where he frequently performed at local rakugo theaters. After passing through the bustling Ameyoko market and crossing Showa-dori, he enters 'Korean Town (Higashi-Ueno),' lined with renowned yakiniku restaurants.

Stepping into the destination, 'Tokyoen,' the atmosphere itself exudes 'deliciousness.' Greeted by the third-generation owners, a married couple, he learns the shop has been operating for over 50 years, proudly preserving its legacy. Opening the menu, he discovers a surprising anecdote: the second-generation owner’s father is rumored to have 'introduced horumon (offal) to Japanese media for the first time.' The owner laughs, saying, 'I don’t know if it’s true or not,' but the depth of history sparks excitement. Though eager to taste the B-meal, Watanabe first asks about the differences from the A-menu. After listening to the owner’s explanation, Watanabe is fully in 'battle mode.'
