10 Units of Next-Generation Mobility 'TOCKLE' (3-Wheeled) Introduced as Transit Within Fukushima Reconstruction Memorial Park

## Background
Fukushima Reconstruction Memorial Park was jointly developed by Fukushima Prefecture and the national government to commemorate victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake, pass down memories and lessons to future generations, and broadcast the progress of recovery to the world. To improve the convenience of travel across the park's expansive grounds—which include memorials, residential settlement areas, multipurpose squares, and hills—next-generation mobility has been implemented.

- Rental Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Last entry at 3:50 PM)
- Vehicle Count: 10 TOCKLE (3-wheeled) units
- Fee: 500 yen per hour (tax included)
- Eligibility: Ages 16 and older
- Requirement: Registration via the 'TOCKLE' app is mandatory

## Commitment to Safety
1. **Rural Focus**: TOCKLE aims to fill 'transportation voids' in rural areas where public transit is at risk. Rural environments, with lower traffic volume and wider roads, allow for safer operations compared to urban centers.
2. **Geofencing Functionality**: Equipped with a safety system that detects the driving area via GPS and automatically stops the vehicle if it enters a designated 'no-entry zone.' Municipalities can flexibly set these zones based on local conditions.

## Municipal Track Record
Already deployed in Tachikawa (Tokyo), Nagareyama (Chiba), and Fukuoka City. Verification tests for future introduction are currently underway in various municipalities, including Kofu (Yamanashi), Saga City, Otaki (Chiba), Muroto (Kochi), Kakegawa (Shizuoka), Hitachi (Ibaraki), and Nagano/Saku (Nagano).
