Bot Express Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kazuki Nakajima; hereinafter "Bot Express"), which provides the smartphone city hall "GovTech Express" that most residents can use immediately right now, is pleased to announce the release of an auto-translation feature for message delivery utilizing AI.
In information dissemination by local governments, the need to deliver information in multiple languages is increasing year by year due to the growing number of foreign residents and the expansion of support for tourists.
However, when attempting to handle multilingual support manually, it is necessary to translate the delivery text created in Japanese and register the delivery text for each language. Because such work occurs every time a message is delivered, many people likely feel that continuous operation is difficult, even though they recognize the necessity.
To solve these challenges, Bot Express has developed an auto-translation feature for message delivery utilizing AI. All that needs to be prepared is the delivery text in Japanese. After that, the AI automatically translates it into each language, and it can be delivered with a single operation. In this article, we will introduce the setup method and delivery flow based on the actual delivery screen.
1. Feature Overview
With the auto-translation feature for message delivery, based on the language settings previously answered by the user, the AI can automatically translate the delivery text and deliver the message in their respective languages.
The sender only needs to create the message in Japanese, and the AI will translate and deliver it to the specified languages. The creation and management of delivery texts for each language, which were necessary in the past, are no longer required, making multilingual delivery possible simply by preparing one Japanese delivery text.
The translation languages widely support any language complying with ISO639-1, allowing for delivery in various languages, including major ones like English and Chinese.
