'Parenting DX's' 'Companion Support Service' Introduced in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture!

The 'Companion Support Service' and 'Questionnaire Service' of 'Parenting DX®', a digital support service for municipal parenting-related businesses provided by Haha-mo Inc., have been fully introduced in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, and will commence operation on July 1 (Wed).

With the introduction of the 'Companion Support Service' and 'Questionnaire Service', users will be able to submit their notification of pregnancy, pre-notification questionnaires, and application for the Childbirth and Child-rearing Support Gift from the app. In addition, to coincide with this introduction, the 'Online Reservation Service,' which was introduced previously, will be expanded to allow users to make appointments at the city hall for the issuance of the maternal and child health handbook through the app.

◆Digitalizing Parenting-Related Services in Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture, to Improve Convenience for Parenting Households!

Yamanashi City has formulated the Yamanashi City Children's Plan based on the basic philosophy of 'A Yamanashi City where all children and young people have dreams for the future, and everyone shines with smiles and feels happiness,' and is working to create an environment where society as a whole supports child-rearing.

Since July 2019, the maternal and child health handbook app 'Boshimo' has been introduced and provided as 'Yamanashi City Touch Diary,' allowing users to record and manage health data for pregnant women and children, manage vaccination schedules, and access advice on childbirth and child-rearing, as well as regional information distributed by the city through the app.

Furthermore, in June 2023, the 'Online Reservation Service' of 'Parenting DX,' which can be used as an additional feature of 'Boshimo,' was introduced, enabling reservations for various parenting events such as postpartum care, baby food classes, and parenting classes for both parents through the app.

This time, to provide more efficient and convenient administrative services by utilizing digital technology, the 'Companion Support Service' and 'Questionnaire Service' of 'Parenting DX' will also be introduced. This will create a system that allows users to more conveniently handle procedures related to pregnancy and child-rearing, further enhance parenting support services, and aim for increased satisfaction.

◆Improving the Convenience of Parenting-Related Procedures Using the App!

Yamanashi City will utilize the 'Companion Support Service' and 'Questionnaire Service' for submitting the notification of pregnancy, pre-notification questionnaires, and applications for the Childbirth and Child-rearing Support Gift. In addition, the functions of the 'Online Reservation Service,' which was introduced previously, will be expanded to include appointments for the issuance of the maternal and child health handbook. This will allow users to complete various procedures during pregnancy anytime through the app, and is expected to reduce the burden on pregnant women who are prone to physical and mental instability.

City officials can review application details and reservation information in advance to prepare for consultations and procedures, leading to detailed support tailored to each citizen and improved administrative efficiency.
