Maternal and Child Health Handbook App 'Boshimo' Launches in Kamenai Village, Hokkaido!

The maternal and child health handbook app 'Boshimo,' operated by Boshimo Inc., has been introduced in Kamenai Village, Furuu District, Hokkaido, and will be available as the 'Child-rearing App Kamoe-ru' starting Monday, June 1st. Kamenai Village aims to create an environment where parents can raise children with peace of mind by promoting comprehensive measures against the declining birthrate, including creating opportunities for encounters, securing employment, and providing childbirth and childcare support. 'Boshimo,' which allows users to record paper handbook data digitally and has been adopted by over 870 municipalities, was selected to align with the Children and Families Agency's policy of promoting electronic handbooks and maternal health DX. 'Boshimo' is an app that easily supports vaccination scheduling, health checkup result management, and local information distribution via smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Since data is stored in the cloud, it serves as a backup in case of loss due to disasters and supports continuous use when moving to other municipalities or changing devices.
