Its operation aligns with the Child and Family Agency's policy on utilizing electronic maternal and child health handbooks and promoting maternal and child health DX (Digital Transformation)※1. 'Boshi-mo' is an app that easily supports vaccination schedules, health checkup results management, and local information distribution via smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Since data is stored in the cloud, it serves as a backup in case of loss of the maternal and child health handbook due to disasters, and also supports continuous use when relocating to another municipality or changing devices, allowing users to continue using it with peace of mind. ◆ 'Boshi-mo' Launches Service in Kanan Town, Osaka Prefecture, Known for Diverse Policies Supporting Both Children and Parents! 'Kanan Child-rearing App,' adopted by Kanan Town, is a service compatible with smartphones, tablets, and PCs. It is equipped with a wealth of convenient functions that assist busy mothers and fathers with childcare and work, such as recording and managing health data for pregnant women and children, managing vaccination schedules, providing advice on childbirth and childcare, a sharing function with family members like grandparents living in distant areas, and notifying users of local information distributed by the town. The "Dekitayo Kinenbi" (I Did It Anniversary) feature, which can be used as a childcare diary, was created based on the Child and Family Agency's maternal and child health handbook format examples. It not only allows users to record developmental stages and childcare milestones, including the "Parent's Record" section of the maternal and child health handbook, with photos and messages, but also serves as a guide for children's growth and development. Furthermore, even when social environmental changes occur due to factors like infectious diseases, the app can instantly deliver important information such as alerts from the municipality and advice from public health nurses to those who need it via text or video, supporting the creation of an environment where childbirth and childcare can be carried out with peace of mind even in emergencies.
