Boshimo Expands Provision of 'Pregnancy Notification Service' Specializing in Digitalization of Pregnancy Notifications!

Boshimo Inc., provider of the maternal and child health handbook app 'Boshimo,' is offering a new service specialized in the digital application function for pregnancy notifications, the 'Pregnancy Notification Service,' to municipalities nationwide. This service is available as an additional function of 'Boshimo' from the company's 'Childcare DX®' service, which supports the digitalization of local government childcare-related projects.
Users can apply for pregnancy notification through the app, and municipalities can grasp the situation of each expectant mother based on the application content, leading to consultations and support, contributing to the smooth implementation of personalized consultation support and the efficiency of related tasks.
From March, this service has been newly introduced in Satosho-cho, Okayama Prefecture, and Shiojiri-shi, Nagano Prefecture. Including the 'Questionnaire Service' of 'Childcare DX,' digital application support for pregnancy notifications has started in eight municipalities in the same month. Furthermore, the 'Pregnancy Notification Service' is scheduled to be introduced in about 50 municipalities in April.
With this initiative, our company aims to lead the maternal and child health DX (Digital Transformation) for municipalities nationwide.

The 'Children's Policy DX' promoted by the Children and Families Agency is advancing the digitalization of the maternal and child health field nationwide so that residents, municipalities, and medical institutions can appropriately and promptly share and utilize maternal and child health information. *1
The pregnancy notification is the first point of contact between residents and municipalities in these efforts and is a crucial procedure that can be the gateway to full-scale maternal and child health DX, including the use of the maternal and child health handbook app, infant health checkups, and pediatric vaccinations. Our company has been supporting digital applications for pregnancy notifications through the 'Questionnaire Service' of 'Childcare DX,' and some adopting municipalities have confirmed an application rate exceeding 90%. *2
From these achievements, it is expected that as the digitalization of pregnancy notifications becomes established, the usage rate of the maternal and child health handbook app itself will reach high levels, such as 90%. This will create a digital point of contact between child-rearing households and municipalities from early pregnancy, leading to an environment where necessary administrative information is more easily accessible to child-rearing households. It is also anticipated to become the foundation for smoothly promoting the digitalization of the entire maternal and child health field, such as vaccinations and infant health checkups.
Against this backdrop, our company supports the development of the maternal and child health DX environment in municipalities nationwide through the provision of the 'Pregnancy Notification Service,' which is limited to the digital application function for pregnancy notifications.

From March, the 'Pregnancy Notification Service' has newly started in eight municipalities, including the following:

The 'Pregnancy Notification Service' is expected to reduce the burden of procedures and improve convenience for users during pregnancy when their physical condition can be unstable, while also aiming for operational efficiency for municipal employees in tasks such as counter services and information management.

Our company's vision is to reduce the friction coefficient related to pregnancy and childcare to zero. To achieve this, we are promoting further expansion and collaboration of support areas through 'Childcare DX®' (maternal and child health checkups, vaccinations, infant health checkups, etc.), the development of an all-in-one stop for applications and procedures related to childcare, and the promotion of maternal and child health information linkage with related institutions (medical, childcare/education, specialized institutions, etc.).
