Boomi, LP. and Boomi Japan announced a major expansion of the Boomi Enterprise Platform at Boomi World 2026, introducing new capabilities across five areas: AI-agent workflow orchestration, AI-agent development, governed AI-agent connectivity, trusted information foundations for agent decision-making, and regionally distributed AI-agent infrastructure. The innovations are designed to help enterprises become agent-led organizations, where AI agents and humans collaborate to take action and operate AI at scale. Customers need an active data foundation that connects data, orchestrates workflows, and enables AI governance for both people and agents, rather than a set of fragmented tools. Key announcements include Boomi Connect, which securely connects AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Gemini with business applications through more than 1,000 MCP-enabled managed tools; MCP Registry, which centrally discovers, governs, and manages MCP servers across Boomi and third-party registries; Boomi Orchestrate, which turns business ideas into production-ready agent workflows; Agent SIM, which simulates and validates agent behavior before production; Boomi Companion, which helps developers design, build, test, deploy, and diagnose integrations through natural language; and embedded Agentstudio agents, which allow teams to run agents within their existing applications, portals, and digital services. For information foundations, Boomi Knowledge Hub removes internal knowledge silos and enables accurate, governed information retrieval across the enterprise. Boomi Meta Hub connects AI agents and people to expert-approved business definitions, improving agent accuracy and ensuring consistent business logic at scale. For infrastructure, Distributed Agent Runtime places agents in on-premises environments so sensitive data remains behind the firewall while reducing cloud latency and optimizing costs. Agentstudio Multi-region Instances keep agent metadata and runtime execution within designated regions to support global deployment and local compliance. Boomi says these innovations establish the company as an orchestration and governance foundation for agent-led, or headless, enterprises.
