Taiwanese Castella Specialty Store 'Tairaku Tangao' Launches Seasonal Summer Sweets: Mango Shaved Ice, Douhua, and Yuyuan

Tairaku Tangao, a Taiwanese castella specialty store operated by BOC Japan Co., Ltd. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Tomohiko Komatsu), is launching a new line of refreshing Taiwanese summer sweets at its 'Kawaguchi Factory & Café' in June 2026, including 'Mango Shaved Ice', 'Taiwanese Douhua', and 'Yuyuan'.

Mango Shaved Ice Features crunchy shaved ice topped with ripe mangoes, mango ice cream, and mango sauce.

Homemade Jiufen Yuyuan Jiufen's famous specialty dessert, Yuyuan, is made from purple yam, taro, and other tubers. This luxurious bowl features homemade Yuyuan, tapioca, mung beans, and Job's tears served over shaved ice with san-on sugar.

Douhua Based on soy milk and adjusted for the Japanese palate, this dessert features a smooth texture. Low in calories, it is good for health and beauty. Offered in two flavors: 'Brown Sugar Douhua' and 'Mango Douhua'.

About Kawaguchi Factory & Café A direct-operated store that functions as a factory providing freshly baked Taiwanese castella. The menu includes Taiwanese coffee, high-mountain tea, tapioca drinks, and snacks such as Lu Rou Fan, Cong You Bing, Dan Bing, and radish cake. The terrace seating is pet-friendly.
