At Mitsukyo, You Can Buy the Wildly Popular Taiwanese Castella with its 'Fluffy-Moist' Texture, a Must-Try That Recreates the Authentic Recipe with High-Quality Japanese Ingredients!

Tairaku Tanga o, a Taiwanese castella specialty store operated by BOC Japan LLC (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Tomohiko Komatsu), which develops franchise stores for Taiwanese food, will open a temporary event store at the 'Sweets Box' on the 2nd floor of Sotetsu Life at Mitsukyo Station on the Sotetsu Line from April 7 to April 13, 2026.

On March 12, 2021, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Tairaku Tanga o opened at Tokyu Plaza Ginza. On its first day, a long line stretched all the way to Tokyo Metro's Ginza Station, becoming a rare piece of bright news. Since the opening of the Tokyu Plaza Ginza store, we have fortunately received much support from customers, and the number of repeat customers continues to grow. It has been featured in many media outlets, including NTV's "ZIP," "Hirunandesu," and "130 Million People's SHOW Channel," Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV," BS Asahi's "Teiban Times," and has been published in the Yomiuri Shimbun, Sankei Shimbun, women's magazine "GINGER," "Hanako," and travel guidebooks.

At this pop-up, we will be selling the popular Taiwanese castella, which incorporates Taiwanese manufacturing methods to reproduce the local taste and texture, including the plain flavor, as well as the featured product, burnt butter vanilla sugar, and a half-and-half set of all six types including cheese and Earl Grey, along with bite-sized cut castella.
