The BOATRACE Promotion Association (Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo) will once again sponsor the "52nd Naha Hari" festival, held in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, from May 3 (Sunday) to May 5 (Tuesday/Holiday), 2026, and will set up a special BOATRACE PR booth. Boat racing, a thrilling competition on the water, will enliven the Naha Hari, a traditional Okinawan event also held on the water.
"Naha Hari," held every May, is one of Naha's three major festivals, alongside the "Naha Great Tug-of-War Festival" in October and the "Ryukyu Dynasty Festival (Shuri Castle Restoration Festival)" in November. The Association has been sponsoring and exhibiting booths at Naha Hari since 2023, making this the fourth consecutive year.
At the booth, we look forward to welcoming everyone with content that can be enjoyed by all generations, including a boat display in collaboration with the Ryukyu Golden Kings, experiential games, and visitor-exclusive campaigns.

Currently, 14 active boat racers are from Okinawa Prefecture, 10 of whom are young racers (under 30 years old). However, Okinawan racers account for less than 1% of the approximately 1,600 boat racers nationwide. Through sponsorships of major events and activities in Okinawa Prefecture, the Association is strengthening its efforts to promote the appeal of boat racing and recruit new boat racers.
