RVCA (RUKA) announces a collaborative collection with CARPE DIEM (CARPE DIEM), a Tokyo-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy.

RVCA, known for bridging art, street, and fight culture, joins forces with CARPE DIEM, a pioneer in Japan's BJJ scene. This collaboration emerges from shared values—beyond competition, both prioritize self-expression and community.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is more than a sport; it is a lifestyle dedicated to refining body and mind. This collection fuses that philosophy with RVCA’s legacy of artistic and street culture expression.

Functional products designed for seamless wear from training to daily life are featured.

The lineup includes rash guards made from stretchable nylon-PU fabric suitable for training and water sports, T-shirts with cooling-touch fabric, and quick-dry dry shorts. Collaborative graphics are also applied to accessories such as Hydro Flask bottles, mesh caps, socks, and dry towels, expressing the shared worldview of both brands.

With functionality and quality tailored for both dedicated practitioners and elite athletes, the collection proposes a new cross-category style spanning competition, lifestyle, and culture.

CARPE DIEM, founded by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Yuki Ishikawa, is a Tokyo-based academy. After discovering BJJ in 1998, Ishikawa was captivated by its depth, gaining experience as both competitor and instructor before establishing his own dojo. In 2013, he launched CARPE DIEM as an independent academy, embodying the philosophy of 'seizing the day.' Today, it has grown into an international network with locations across Japan, as well as London, Singapore, and South Korea. In a clean, open environment with a friendly community, CARPE DIEM welcomes diverse individuals—from beginners to top-level competitors—united by the pursuit of growth through martial arts.
