## Background of the Dream
When families are stationed overseas, the partner accompanying the expatriate often has to interrupt or abandon their career. This can trigger identity loss and mental health issues, leading to individuals and families bottling up their struggles and becoming isolated. Recently, due to the high potential of accompanying partners and the necessity of support from the perspective of well-being and risk management, various companies have begun participating in initiatives for accompanying families. However, this support is still not reaching everyone who needs it.

Because of its connection to personnel evaluations and the strong sense of independence among accompanying partners, this problem rarely surfaces. In response, we at Board & Beyond aim to act as a bridge between accompanying families and dispatching companies, working towards a goal where families can "spread their wings in the world together" and experience "family expatriation without giving up on careers or family."

## Our Initiatives So Far
Since around our establishment in October 2025, we have been exploring the possibility of redefining the career blanks of accompanying partners from "personal choices" or "family problems" to "structural issues of expatriation," while also searching for partner companies. Meanwhile, since January 2026, we have been hosting free monthly webinars for HR personnel and those directly involved in family expatriation.

## Future Initiatives
Until now, we have mainly explored possibilities for B2B. Moving forward, to directly respond to the positive mindset of accompanying partners who say, "No matter the environment, I want to continuously connect with society positively and provide value. I don't want to give up on my career or my family," we also plan to develop services for individual family expatriates.

We aim to provide a place to consider and learn "skills to pursue both career and life as a family and as a team," which will be useful not only during the expatriation period but throughout the rest of their lives. By thinking about careers based on "family well-being," we will realize a future where dreams and careers are not abandoned due to life stage changes.

We will create a place of learning where participants can take home various new perspectives.
