Kuroko’s Basketball Tarot-Themed Pop-Up Store to Open at Tokyo Anime Center

Bandai Namco Filmworks announced that it will hold “Kuroko’s Basketball POP UP STORE -The World of Tarot-” for a limited time at Tokyo Anime Center on the 2nd floor of Shibuya MODI from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 21, 2026. The event features newly drawn illustrations themed around “tarot,” which became a topic of discussion as part of the official Kuroko’s Basketball anime April Fools’ project in 2026. Kuroko and other characters are depicted as Major Arcana cards such as The Hermit, Strength, The Chariot, and Wheel of Fortune. A wide range of original merchandise using both the full-size newly drawn illustrations and newly created chibi character illustrations will be available at the event. In addition, customers who spend 3,000 yen or more including tax per transaction at the venue can participate in a lottery to win original bonuses such as tarot-style acrylic stands. EPOS Card holders can receive one additional lottery draw. Every draw wins a prize, and bonuses are available while supplies last. Kuroko’s Basketball is based on Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s basketball manga serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, with cumulative comic circulation exceeding 30 million copies.
