WINDSOR, Conn., April 29, 2026 -- SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC) today announced the launch of "SS&C Blue Prism WorkHQ," an enterprise agentic automation platform. WorkHQ is designed to help organizations operationalize agentic AI securely, transparently, and with full control across end-to-end workflows.

Announced at a live event at Nasdaq in New York, WorkHQ provides a unified, governed environment to centrally orchestrate humans, AI agents, APIs, and digital workers.

SS&C developed WorkHQ based on its experience running large-scale operations in regulated industries. The company currently utilizes over 4,000 digital workers and more than 50 AI agents to support its 23,000+ global customers, achieving significant operational improvements such as reducing processing times for key workflows by up to 95%.

"WorkHQ was developed to solve real-world enterprise challenges, not just for demos," said Rob Stone, SVP and General Manager, Intelligent Automation and Analytics at SS&C Technologies, Inc. "Many organizations adopting AI face challenges with hundreds of systems, legacy infrastructure, and inflexible compliance requirements. We designed WorkHQ from the ground up with this reality in mind. A key strength is that we implemented, operated, and validated it within our own large, complex, and highly regulated environment before offering it to customers. We became 'Customer Zero' to optimize WorkHQ."

Key features of WorkHQ include:
- Centralized Management: Unlike fragmented single-function tools, WorkHQ allows users to design, coordinate, execute, and manage all types of automated work—including AI agents, digital workers, and APIs—with human involvement as needed, all on a single platform.
- Built-in Governance: Security, auditability, and compliance are embedded at the workflow level, enabling organizations to deploy AI faster while maintaining compliance.
- Hybrid Automation Approach: WorkHQ complements existing RPA and BPM investments, allowing rule-based automation to be maintained where control is critical, while deploying AI agents where they add value.
- Leverages Existing Foundation: Designed to complement and integrate with the existing Blue Prism platform, it fosters innovation without disrupting the current technology infrastructure.
- Reusability: Workflows and AI agents are designed to be modular and reusable, shortening time-to-automation and enhancing scalability across the enterprise.

"Companies worldwide are actively adopting AI agents, and IDC research predicts the variety of AI agents in production will roughly double in the next year," said Neil Ward-Dutton, Vice President, Agentic Automation & AI Technology at IDC. "To extract large-scale, measurable, and sustainable value from AI investments, companies are focusing on integrating tools and methods for orchestration and governance. Platforms that enable this will create enormous value."
