"ChaaS" Exhibited at SoftBank's Executive Briefing Center

Blue Farm Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Daisuke Aoki, hereinafter referred to as 'our company'), which creates new ways to connect society and tea, announces that it has started exhibiting its environmental value creation service 'ChaaS' at 'EBC (Executive Briefing Center) STATION Ai' (Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture) operated by SoftBank Corp. (hereinafter referred to as 'SoftBank').

This exhibition presents a new form of social implementation to co-create new social value by connecting regional agricultural resources with urban corporate activities.

■ Background and Intent of the Exhibition
Against the backdrop of social issues such as the decline of the tea industry and climate change, our company has been working to unlock the sustainable functions of tea fields. By exhibiting at 'EBC STATION Ai' operated by SoftBank, we aim to introduce case studies of our unique sustainable solution and the mechanism for visualizing environmental contributions. Through dialogue with companies visiting 'EBC STATION Ai', we aim to expand the application areas of ChaaS.

'EBC STATION Ai' is a next-generation business dialogue base operated by SoftBank, a facility aimed at co-creating solutions through technology and co-creation for issues faced by advanced companies and local governments.

This exhibition is structured to allow visitors to visually experience the concept of 'connecting regional agricultural resources with urban corporate activities' through an overview of ChaaS, examples of adopting companies, visual images of tea fields, and model estimations of CO2 absorption. We expect this to act as a catalyst for new social implementation through dialogues with companies visiting 'EBC STATION Ai'.

[About the Tea Field Subscription Service 'ChaaS']
ChaaS (Tea Field as a Service) is an 'environmental value creation subscription service' that allows companies to easily incorporate the environmental value (CO2 absorption, biodiversity, water source conservation, etc.) of tea fields spread across the country. Simply by switching their corporate beverages to sustainable green tea, companies can visualize their ESG contribution, leading to sustainable agriculture in the region.
