**Date and Time:** Saturday, July 25, 2026, 13:00 to Monday, July 27, 2026, 17:00
**Location:** Biwako Museum Seminar Room (Day 1), Practical Training Room 1 (Days 2, 3)
* Participants will stay at the accommodation facility in the Biwako Museum Annex (accommodation free of charge).
**Target:** High school students eager to master diatomology
**Capacity:** 8 participants (If there are many applications, a lottery will be held)
**Instructors:**

**What to bring:** Diatom samples collected in advance (collection tools will be sent to successful applicants), writing implements, laptop (tablet acceptable), lab coat, changes of clothes for two days (comfortable attire), toiletries.
* For those who wish, laptops and lab coats will be lent.
**Participation Fee:** Free. Dinner on Day 1 and Day 2, and breakfast and lunch on Day 2 and Day 3 will be provided.
* All meals are free.
* If you have allergies or foods you cannot eat, please inform us when you are selected.
