We have appointed Seraku Okamoto, a former reporter for Cointelegraph Japan, as the Editor-in-Chief. The media will commence operations by disseminating content on the economy, politics, real estate, and cryptocurrency, primarily targeting a younger generation and offering a youthful perspective.

As a media outlet that delves into the evolving shape of the economy and political issues that have struggled to capture the interest of young people, we are considering partnerships with overseas media, with a focus on Japan.

Broad and Deep Coverage Areas

We are promoting initiatives to feature projects and endeavors that have not been covered by existing media, focusing on a project or team basis rather than a company-wide scope. We aim to establish our position as a comprehensive media outlet that covers everything from large-scale projects to small ones, including articles focusing on small internal organizations and new challenges undertaken by university students.

We also plan to sequentially accommodate advertisements from various companies and proceed with article writing.

Intended Meaning and Origin of the Media Name

The Japanese economy has suffered from long-term deflation and an economic structure that missed growth opportunities. While it has been called the 'lost 30 years,' it is a sad thought as Japanese citizens that this period may continue to extend.

Therefore, we exist as a media outlet to create and report on a 'new economy.'

The name 'EIICHI' adopted for our media is derived from the name of Eiichi Shibusawa, a prominent figure in Japanese history.

Eiichi Shibusawa was the founder who laid the foundation for Japan's economy and is renowned as the 'Father of Japanese Commerce and Industry.' To inject new vitality into the currently struggling Japanese economy, we have decided to establish 'EIICHI JOURNAL' with Seraku Okamoto, former reporter for Cointelegraph Japan, serving as the media's representative.

This media outlet, which handles a wide range of fields from cryptocurrency to real estate, will have editorial staff from various sectors participating in article updates.

Seraku Okamoto

Seraku Okamoto is the Editor-in-Chief and Representative of EIICHI JOURNAL. He has extensive experience in creating content ranging from cryptocurrency price analysis to PR articles. He is a former editor at Cointelegraph Japan and worked at Nomura Research Institute. Originally from Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, he spent his student years in environments such as Taiwan and Canada. Tetsuto Tomita is the Head of Research at EIICHI JOURNAL. He began investing in 2017 and has experience in a wide range of markets, including Japanese stocks, US stocks, crypto assets, and NFTs. You can post articles using our posting plans, starting from 2 articles per month (from ¥33,000 per month). While article creation is generally the responsibility of the submitter, we will provide supplementary explanations, editorial assistance, and comments on the EIICHI JOURNAL project.

We also offer a member plan for ¥22,000 per month (one-year contract), allowing up to 3 articles to be posted per month.

We are seeking interns for approximately a 3-month period. There are no recruitment restrictions based on the university attended. We hope to recruit individuals who can create articles leveraging their strengths and interests, becoming reporters and editors.

Contributors (Limited numbers, screening required)

We welcome submissions from those who already write articles on blogs or enjoy creating articles as a hobby, and wish to have their writing featured on our media.
