'BEST OF MINPAKU 2026 Stay-chelin Special Category' Winner Announced! Okinawa's 'Tamagusuku Terrace' Takes 1st Place

The 'BEST OF MINPAKU 2026' contest, organized by Keisuke Sakakibara (vacation rental expert) and Natsuki Tajiri (vacation villa expert) of Minpaku Revolution Co., Ltd., was held at Makuhari Messe on February 23, 2026. The event aimed to determine the best vacation rentals, villas, and glamping sites in Japan. Simultaneously, the 'Minpaku EXPO JAPAN 2026' and 'Grand Minpaku Seminar' were held from February 21 to 23, attracting many visitors interested in the forefront of the tourism and accommodation industry. 'BEST OF MINPAKU 2026' honors facilities providing the best accommodation experiences in Japan, aiming to promote the industry and facilitate networking among operators. Out of 1,495 entries nationwide, 'Tamagusuku Terrace' in Nanjo City, Okinawa, won first place in the Stay-chelin special category. Stay-chelin is a 3-star evaluation system for vacation rentals and villas launched in 2025. Tamagusuku Terrace is a private villa located on a hill in Nanjo City, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and sky. The facility features a seamless design between indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing guests to feel the natural breeze and light. The interior is designed with natural materials, providing a sophisticated luxury space. The villa is a single-story building of approximately 100㎡ on a 500㎡ plot, accommodating up to 6 people. It offers a unique 'experiential stay' where guests can enjoy the history, culture, and nature of Okinawa. Guests can relax in a jacuzzi or sauna while overlooking the sea, or enjoy yoga and treatments using traditional Okinawan pottery. This facility is recognized as a new model for luxury vacation rentals.
