Our company supports April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release is the dream of BEK Lab.

BEK Lab (based in Tsukuba City) is engaged in the research, development, practice, and dissemination of methods that everyone from age 0 to 100 can use in their daily lives, regardless of age, disability, gender, or nationality.

The dream we hold is:

"Connecting Japan and the World, Past and Future through Education! ~Global Citizens in Japan, Japanese Citizens in the World! Come on, Children! To the World with Japanese Dignity and Virtue~"

Towards that goal, we aim for the 'creation of environment' and 'development of on-site educational programs' for Children's ESD practice.

■ BEK Lab's Thoughts

"In a world characterized by diverse and rapid changes, education and learning can be created under any circumstances in the world! Creating for oneself leads to sustainable and high-quality education!"

Based on this thought, we at BEK Lab bring out the inherent potential of 'people'.

■ BEK Lab's Initiatives ~Towards Achieving the BEK April Dream~

At BEK Lab, in a borderless society, to "live as a global citizen in Japan and live as a Japanese citizen in the world," we respect the freedom overflowing within children while fostering dignity, sentiment, and deep culture.

Through nature experiences, cultural experiences, and moving experiences, we nurture the power of the five senses and expression, building the base for high-quality education.

◎ In recent years, we have been active based on three pillars:

Theme: "Global Citizen in Japan, Japanese Citizen in the World"

Focused Activities: ① Early Childhood Education / Home Education × ESD
② Japanese Culture and Arts Education
③ Adult Learning for Children

The importance of early childhood has been clarified by various studies. Permeating ESD ideas into early childhood education through natural learning will further expand the future of children and the world. Furthermore, understanding diversity and fostering imagination will lead to accepting diverse values from the past, present, and future, broadening each individual's foundation. We believe that children's diverse play and learning time lead to self-understanding and improved self-esteem.

*ESD = Education for Sustainable Development
*BEK Lab is also a Regional Center of Expertise (RCE) on ESD.

We work with not only Japanese people but also foreign nationals living in Japan, children receiving overseas education such as international schools, and Japanese people living abroad. We are working on initiatives focused on acquiring beautiful Japanese culture, language, and characters. We plan to upgrade these programs further in the future.

Through various activities and original programs, we will continue to convey the essence for children to look toward the world, have their own identities as international citizens, and live in each community. Aiming to foster human resources who are active as global citizens in Japan and Japanese citizens in the world.

From 0 to 100 years old, regardless of age, disability, gender, or nationality, we are engaged in the research, educational material development, practice, and dissemination of methods that everyone can utilize in their lives. At our center, we are currently offering a wide variety of courses and lessons, ranging from comprehensive education for children, home education, sentiment education, exam preparation, remedial education, and Japanese language education to various types of learning for adults.
