Kuriyama Beika Launches Hokkaido-Exclusive GARAKU-Supervised "Bakauke Soup Curry Flavor" on April 15

Kuriyama Beika Co., Ltd., headquartered in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, a manufacturer and seller of rice crackers such as "Bakauke," "Seto Shio," and "Hoshi Tabeyo," announced the launch of its Hokkaido-exclusive "Bakauke Soup Curry Flavor" on April 15, 2026 (Wednesday). The product, supervised by GARAKU, contains 14 pieces and will be available at New Chitose Airport stores, Sapporo Station stores, roadside stations, and highway stores in Hokkaido. The product combines the umami of rice with the aroma of spices and Japanese-style dashi, inspired by the affinity between rice (a key partner for soup curry) and rice (the main ingredient of Bakauke). Kuriyama Beika was established on February 5, 1949, has approximately 750 employees, and a capital of 86.77 million JPY. Its sales in 2024 were 26.8 billion JPY. Taiga Kuriyama, born April 30, 1994, became the representative director and president in April 2025.
