Eating is deeply related not only to sustaining life but also to the enjoyment and dignity of life. In this seminar, I will share essential care techniques and risk management to support the "joy of eating" in medical and nursing care settings, from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The newly developed comprehensive choking risk assessment form can be objectively utilized by "anyone, anywhere, anytime" in a short period, such as during admission/discharge or home care. I hope this will be an opportunity to learn care techniques that will make future meals safer and richer.
