Measures Against Children's Fevers and Infectious Diseases ・Approximately 40% of respondents have taken measures to prevent fevers and infectious diseases since giving birth. ・The top measures are: 1st, 'providing nutritionally balanced baby food'; 2nd, 'ensuring frequent hydration for the child'; and 3rd, 'the mother's diet during the breastfeeding period'. 3. Relationship Between Children's Fevers/Infectious Diseases and Breast Milk ・Approximately 90% of respondents are aware that breast milk components are related to immunity and development. ・Approximately 50% of respondents are aware of the component 'osteopontin' found in breast milk. ・Approximately 40% of respondents know that 'osteopontin' helps support the immune function of infants shortly after birth. ■ Survey Results Details 1. Only 5% are not, indicating a high level of awareness. Approximately 30% of children experience fevers or infectious diseases 'once a year'. The frequency of children experiencing fevers or infectious diseases was 32% for 'once a year' and 26% for 'once every six months', followed by 18% for 'once every three months' and 12% for 'once every two months'.
