LEGASEE (operated by BC Inc. / Headquarters: [Tokyo] / Representative Director: Shosei Masuda), an invitation-only "craft" marketplace, announced that it will conduct a globally limited lottery sale on LEGASEE for traditional crafts actually used at "ICI C’EST PARIS LA MAISON TOKYO" (hereinafter LA MAISON TOKYO), the first event hosted by Paris Saint-Germain (hereinafter PSG) in Japan [May 2-5 / Media Department Shibuya].

The items to be sold were created by LEGASEE in collaboration with traditional craftspeople specifically for the special occasion of LA MAISON TOKYO's Japan event, and were actually used in the venue's spatial design and experiential offerings. For the sale, the background of their use at LA MAISON TOKYO will be clearly stated on each product page, and the items will be delivered to their next owners along with the context they embody.

Background of this Sale

The value of a craft item is not determined solely by its perfection at the time of creation. Its appeal deepens further depending on who made it, the philosophy and techniques behind its creation, and the setting in which it was used, and the time it has accumulated.

LEGASEE is selling crafts that were created within the special context of LA MAISON TOKYO's Japan event and were actually used as part of that space and experience. Born from the hands of artisans, placed in the setting of an international event, and imbued with human time and memories, they are then passed on to their next owners. LEGASEE proposes these "crafts imbued with the memory of the place" not merely as products, but as valuable possessions with a rich background.

Furthermore, this sale will be conducted as a globally limited edition, with a restricted quantity, delivering crafts imbued with the unique context of LA MAISON TOKYO's Japan event to collectors and enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.

About Kiso Lacquerware

Kiso lacquerware is a traditional craft with a history of approximately 400 years, passed down mainly in Kiso Hirasawa, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture. It is believed to have started in the early 17th century and has developed as a technique to enhance the durability and beauty of wooden products made from high-quality Kiso wood by applying lacquer.

About Kamakura-bori
