Collaboration with 'glo™ Hilo Plus: McLaren Racing Inspired Limited Edition'
As a Principal Partner of the world-class racing team McLaren Racing, BAT Japan released the 'glo™ Hilo Plus: McLaren Racing Inspired Limited Edition' on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. This device, the most premium in glo™ history, was inspired by the team's worldview.

As part of the device's campaign, 'Power of Connection,' creators from various cultural sectors were appointed. Shohei Ochiai participated as a collaborator in the art sector, joining Aile The Shota × A.G.O (music) and Rogerio Igarashi Vaz of Bar TRENCH (cocktails).

About Shohei Ochiai
Born in Omiya, Saitama. Graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Product and Textile Design. He has presented paintings and drawings depicting everyday items. His work is characterized by dynamic, unpredictable forms, a sense of three-dimensionality, and line drawings made with strong pressure, developing unique character expressions. In 2022, he provided artwork for the launch merchandise of 'JOOPITER,' a digital auction house hosted by Pharrell Williams. In 2024, he collaborated on a triple-branded collection with NEWERA and the Yomiuri Giants. In 2025, his work began being handled by 'JOOPITER Marketplace,' and in 2026, he created the jacket for artist 'underscores,' expanding his scope of activities globally.
