Our company supports the 'April Dream' initiative, a day to broadcast dreams on April 1st. This press release represents the dream of BASYO Inc.

BASYO Inc., a wellness startup that supports the creation of health habits that are 'enjoyable, effortless, and sustainable with the power of professionals,' will launch a 'Let's Start a Healthy Office' support campaign starting April 1, the beginning of the new fiscal year. Limited to the first 50 companies, we will provide free customization by adding corporate logos to the 'Office Wellness Station,' our exercise habituation system designed for offices.

BASYO aims for a 'society where health is the norm.' As a first step, we are expanding environments where health promotion continues naturally, starting with the 'office,' where many working people spend the majority of their time during the day.

Background: The 'Lack of Exercise Problem' Among the Working Generation and the 'Struggle with Lack of Workplace Penetration' in Health Management As desk-work-centric work styles spread, 'prolonged sitting' and 'lack of exercise' among the working generation are attracting attention as significant health issues. In Japan, reports indicate that the average sitting time for adults is about 7 hours, one of the longest in the world, making prolonged sitting a daily norm. Additionally, the achievement rate for the recommended amount of physical activity outlined in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's 'Physical Activity and Exercise Guide for Health Promotion 2023' remains at 46.6%, meaning more than half fall short of the goal. *1

These health challenges are not merely individual problems but also impact corporate productivity. 'Presenteeism,' where employees work while dealing with physical ailments and fail to exhibit their full potential, is estimated to cause a productivity loss of approximately 695,000 yen per person annually. *2

To solve these issues, 'Health and Productivity Management' is becoming widespread as a corporate initiative. According to an announcement by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the number of certified 'Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organizations 2026' has expanded to 3,765 in the large enterprise category and 23,085 in the SME category. *3 On the other hand, while health management is becoming the norm, a current challenge is that efforts often stop at simply acquiring certification and fail to fully penetrate the workplace from the employees' perspective.

Against this backdrop, BASYO developed the 'Office Wellness Station,' an office exercise habituation system, based on the concept of 'installing health habits with the same feeling as installing a vending machine.' By providing triggers that make people 'want to move their bodies' along office traffic lines, we realize a society where health promotion is the norm through a system that is easy for workers to use and represents a smart health investment for companies.

Supporting the First Step—Launching the 'Let's Start a Healthy Office' Support Campaign Now, to realize our dream, we are conducting the 'Let's Start a Healthy Office' support campaign to back the 'first step' of adopting companies. In our previous interviews with companies, we received many requests for 'customization with our corporate logo' to make health management initiatives easier to communicate to the workplace. Therefore, in this campaign, we will provide corporate logo customization for the 'Office Wellness Station' free of charge, limited to the first 50 companies.

[Campaign Overview] Target: Companies promoting healthy work styles / Share office operating companies Number of companies provided: First 50 companies Implementation period: From Tuesday, April 1, 2026 (Ends as soon as the limit is reached) Benefit details: Free implementation of corporate logo customization on the main body of the Office Wellness Station Application method: Apply via the URL below (URL: https://forms.gle/5BjupPrecEyETdSt7)

Future Outlook: Making 'Offices Where Health is the Norm' the New Standard BASYO believes that to realize a 'society where health is the norm,' it is important not only to rely on individual willpower and effort but to transform the very places where users are into 'environments where it is easy to act healthily.' That is precisely why our first undertaking is the office, where working people spend much of their daytime and where it is easy to design triggers for action.

From sites where our system has already been introduced, we have received positive feedback not only regarding health aspects but also regarding the promotion of interaction, such as 'I move my body more times in the office,' 'I try to avoid sitting continuously,' and 'I feel refreshed and my concentration has increased,' as well as 'I have become more conscious of other health behaviors like diet and sleep' and 'It became a trigger for conversation with colleagues.' Encouraged by these voices, BASYO will further refine the experience where 'health promotion continues naturally' in the office.

Moving forward, we will expand the creation of environments where people 'naturally want to move their bodies' through the 'Office Wellness Station,' focusing on companies promoting health management and share office operators supporting healthy work styles. Through co-creation with adopting and operating companies, we will make 'offices where health is the norm' the new standard.
