Base Food Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shun Hashimoto; https://basefood.co.jp), which develops and sells nutritionally complete staple foods, is pleased to announce that it has signed a supplier agreement with Ryosuke Sakai, a trampoline athlete who competed in the Tokyo Olympics, won a silver medal at the World Championships, and is a three-time consecutive winner of the All Japan Championships, as part of its "BASE UP SPORTS PROJECT" to support "base-upping" for healthy body building and improved sports performance.
Support for Various Activities through "BASE UP SPORTS PROJECT"
Base Food is engaged in the "BASE UP PROJECT," an initiative aimed at realizing "a society where everyone shines in their own way and is filled with smiles," by supporting the "base-upping" of mind and body health through the incorporation of nutritionally complete foods into daily life in scenes such as sports, music, arts, and culture.
Ryosuke Sakai has agreed to participate in the "BASE UP SPORTS PROJECT" within this initiative, leading to the realization of this supplier agreement. Moving forward, we plan to provide various "BASE FOOD" series as nutritional support for Ryosuke Sakai, cooperate in various activities, and engage in broad collaborative efforts such as awareness campaigns on "Nutrition and Sports Performance."

Born in Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1997. Graduated from Seiryo High School and Kanazawa Seiryo University. Currently belongs to Steady Japan Inc.
Began trampoline at the age of 2, influenced by his mother, and won the All Japan Junior Championships in his third year of junior high school. The following year, he moved away from home to pursue athletic improvement and enrolled in Seiryo High School in Ishikawa Prefecture. After entering Kanazawa Seiryo University, he placed 5th in the individual event at the World Championships in 2019. After graduating from university, he joined Bandai Namco Amusement Inc. In 2021, he competed in the Tokyo Olympics, won a team silver medal at the World Championships, and achieved three consecutive victories in synchronized trampoline at the All Japan Championships, accumulating achievements on both domestic and international stages.
In 2026, he will join Steady Japan Inc., which develops the home fitness brand "STEADY" and the wellness brand "RELANESS," with the vision of "realizing a society where people can live healthy and true to themselves." He will continue his athletic career with the goal of winning a medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. In addition, he has started an initiative with STEADY to widely disseminate knowledge about conditioning practiced by athletes in their daily lives to society.

What is "BASE FOOD" Nutritionally Complete Smart Food?
"BASE FOOD" is a nutritionally complete staple food that provides one-third of the daily required nutrients in a balanced way per meal. Using carefully selected ingredients, primarily from natural sources such as whole grains, soybeans, and chia seeds, we achieve nutritional balance and deliciousness through our unique technology in formulation and manufacturing. It is a smart food that provides 33 types of nutrients required daily, including protein, dietary fiber, and 26 types of vitamins and minerals.
Since its launch in February 2017, we have expanded our series to include BASE PASTA, BASE BREAD, BASE YAKISOBA, BASE RAMEN, BASE Cookies, and BASE Pancake Mix. Cumulative sales have surpassed 300 million bags (as of March 2026), and cumulative regular subscribers have exceeded 1 million (as of November 2025).
