The Badminton Association of Japan (President: Mitsuru Murai, hereinafter "BAJ") is pleased to announce that it has concluded a cooperation partner (*1) agreement with the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Sports Human Capital (Representative Director: Kosuke Honma, hereinafter "SHC").

SHC focuses on "creating management talent for sports organizations" and develops unique educational programs and communities aimed at fostering management and leadership talent in the sports world, thereby contributing to the development and production of human resources that support the growth of the sports industry.

Comment from BAJ President Mitsuru Murai

"We are extremely pleased to have concluded a cooperation partner agreement with the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Sports Human Capital. We will receive support in areas such as the development of management talent and the strengthening of networks within sports organizations, and we will also collaborate on information sharing and PR activities.

Badminton, in addition to its appeal as a sport, has the power to promote physical and mental health, foster human connections, and contribute to the creation of a rich society. To further enhance its value and ensure its sustainable development, it is essential to strengthen organizational management and human resource foundations, in addition to improving athletic performance. Through this partnership, by leveraging our respective expertise and networks, we aim to foster talent that can excel in both athletic and management aspects, contributing not only to the further development of the Japanese badminton community but also to the development of the entire Japanese sports world."

Comment from SHC Representative Director Kosuke Honma

"We are very pleased that the Badminton Association has become a cooperation partner, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude. I would also like to express my renewed thanks to President Murai, who is a founder of SHC and its predecessor organization JHC, and a leading executive in the sports business world.

It is a great honor for SHC to be involved in the competition and management of badminton, which is attracting attention in Japan and worldwide, and to be able to support the management and human resource development of not only professional leagues but also associations (NFs) and 47 prefectural associations. We intend to leverage this opportunity to grow into a platform for human resources and management in the Japanese sports world. We aim to produce numerous excellent management talents who can thrive in sports organizations, form communities in collaboration with domestic and international organizations, and promote our business towards realizing SHC's vision of a rich sports life."
