Announcement of New Head Coach Contract with Judd Flavell

Thank you for your continued support of the Shinshu Brave Warriors. We are pleased to announce that we have signed a new contract with Judd Flavell as Head Coach for the 2026-27 season.

13 seasons with New Zealand Breakers (Australian NBL): Served as Assistant Coach, contributing to 4 league championships (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015).
2006-16: As Academy Director, developed 18 NBL players and 13 New Zealand national team players.
2012: Head Coach of Auckland Pirates (NZNBL), won the league championship.
2018: Head Coach of Southland Sharks (NZNBL), won the league championship.
2019-22: South East Melbourne Phoenix (Australian NBL): 2020-21 season semi-finalist.
2023-24: Canterbury Rams (NZNBL): Won back-to-back championships as Head Coach, awarded Coach of the Year in 2024.

2015: Assistant Coach, New Zealand Men's National Team (Tall Blacks).
2018-21: Assistant Coach, New Zealand Men's National Team (Tall Blacks).
2024-: Head Coach, New Zealand Men's National Team (Tall Blacks).
