Bielot Group Advances Grid-Scale Battery Storage Projects in Kyoto and Shiga

Bielot Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Makoto Miyauchi; TSE Standard: 3452) announced that its group company, Kumashu Komuten Co., Ltd., has acquired land and grid connection rights for grid-scale battery storage facilities.

1. Project Background
Under the long-term vision of its medium-term management plan, the group aims to "contribute to a sustainable society through its business." With the recent expansion of renewable energy, expectations for grid-scale battery storage facilities, which help stabilize power supply and demand, have risen.

In light of this business environment, Kumashu Komuten has acquired land and grid connection rights for projects in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, and Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.

With these projects, the total number of grid-scale battery storage projects being promoted by the group reaches six.

3. Growth of the Grid-Scale Storage Market
According to the "Battery and Power Industry Strategy" released by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in June 2026, the stationary battery market is projected to grow at an annual rate of 11.0% through 2035. The government is promoting the adoption of grid-scale energy storage systems through support programs utilizing GX economic transition bonds.

Against the backdrop of this market expansion and policy support, the group is advancing its battery storage business. Through these projects, we aim to achieve both stable business revenue and the realization of a sustainable society, while continuing to create and expand business opportunities in the field of renewable energy.
