B-lot Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Makoto Miyauchi; TSE Standard: 3452) announced that its group company, B-lot Capital Link Co., Ltd., has additionally acquired land for grid-scale battery storage and power connection rights.

1. Project Background

Our group's long-term vision in its medium-term management plan states a fundamental strategy to "contribute to the creation of a sustainable society through business." As part of this, we have now acquired our fourth parcel of land for grid-scale battery storage and power connection rights, located in Chosei-gun, Chiba Prefecture.

Grid-scale battery storage in the Tokyo Electric Power service area, which experiences high electricity demand, is considered crucial infrastructure for leveling power fluctuations and stabilizing power supply.

The Chiba area not only has numerous solar power plants but is also projected to see a concentration of data centers in the future. As electricity demand increases, this project is expected to contribute significantly to power stabilization.
