June 4th–10th is 'Teeth and Mouth Health Week'

The NPO Okuchi no Kenkou will participate in two oral health awareness events held in Miyazaki City on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, in conjunction with 'Teeth and Mouth Health Week,' which runs annually from June 4 to 10. This week is a national awareness campaign promoted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the Japan Dental Association. Under the theme 'Let's keep our teeth healthy together,' our organization has been promoting the importance of dental health and brushing through entertainment. Through these two events, we aim to contribute to oral health awareness in Miyazaki Prefecture and provide an experience where children can feel motivated to take care of their teeth. The events will feature our original character, 'Hamigaki Usagi,' performing stage shows and greetings, creating a theme-park-like atmosphere for all ages. Furthermore, we are excited to announce special collaborations: Miyazaki City's official character 'Miyaneko' will appear on June 6, and Miyazaki Prefecture's symbol character 'Miyazaki-ken' will appear on June 7. The June 6 event at Miyazaki City Phoenix Natural Zoo will include animal guides and a quiz rally, while the June 7 event at Miyako City will feature dental consultations and hands-on activities.
