Released on YouTube on Friday, April 3, 2026

First performance decided at "Hamigaki Usagi's Come Come Family Concert" on Sunday, April 26

"NPO Okuchi no Kenko (Chairman: Takashi Koyanagi)" has been engaged in various activities aimed at revolutionizing oral health awareness in Japan through dentistry x entertainment.

As part of this, we have produced a collaborative song titled "Katatsumuri Ha Nanbon?" (How Many Teeth Does a Snail Have?) with "Sakana no Oniisan Kawachan" and our organization's original character, "Hamigaki Usagi."

It has been decided that the song will be distributed on the YouTube "Hamigaki Usagi Channel" from 17:00 on Friday, April 3.

"Sakana no Oniisan Kawachan," who has consistently conveyed the preciousness of life with the desire to bridge children and the sea and enrich the future of fish, has endorsed our organization's philosophy, leading to this collaboration.

The song is completed as an edutainment (education x entertainment) song that teaches children the realization that "their teeth are for life" from the perspective of animal teeth, including that animals and fish also have teeth.

The unique song, which incorporates the number of teeth of various creatures from humans to rabbits, cats, dogs, dolphins, and even snails, is intended to help parents and children learn together, increase their interest in teeth, and lead to improved oral health awareness from an early age.

This song will be publicly released on YouTube on Friday, April 3, 2026, and will have its live debut at the "Hamigaki Usagi's Come Come Family Concert" held on Sunday, April 26.

What is "Hamigaki Usagi"...!?

Hamigaki Usagi is a character that promotes the "importance of brushing teeth" primarily to parents and children, based on the message of "realizing a society where no one loses teeth due to periodontal disease or cavities!" The "Hamigaki Usagi Dance Show," delivered at various events and on social media, combines music that children can't help but sing along to and simple yet unique dances that make them want to dance. It offers entertainment where parents and children can interactively enjoy and learn the importance of brushing teeth by singing and dancing together.
