Yamatonokami Yasusada is a Japanese sword forged by the Kii Province smith Yasusada, famously known as the treasured blade of Okita Souji, captain of the Shinsengumi's 1st unit, alongside Kanesada Yukimitsu. Renowned for its sharp edge and dignified beauty, this blade is said to be difficult to wield and selective of its master.
Combining a sincere desire to serve a loving master with fierce intensity that emerges in battle, this visual captures the moment when gentle smiles and blade-like sharpness merge—brought to life on the new stage of the ice rink.
