Empowering Children's Learning Through Work: Career Education Coordinators Realize Lessons Connecting Learning with the Future.

ax-factory Inc. aims to spread classrooms nationwide where learning connects with society, and children, teachers, and adults alike are excited. To achieve this, we will promote the training and practical application of "Career Education Coordinators," specialized professionals who connect schools with society.

Background Career education is a form of learning that fosters the qualities and abilities to forge one's own path in life. With the rapid development of AI, the question "Why do people learn?" is being asked. Beyond acquiring knowledge and skills, individuals should gain a sense of how these are utilized in society, thereby finding their own happiness. This kind of learning cannot be achieved solely within schools. However, since the COVID-19 pandemic, the workload of schools has become even more severe. Support from "outside" the school, such as local communities and industries, is essential.

Desired Future Vision Against this backdrop, the "future vision" envisioned by ax-factory Inc. is a society where: "Children look forward to becoming adults." "Teachers can challenge themselves with lessons they 'want to try!'" "Adults are gradually involved in education, starting with what they can do." Our Role To realize this future vision, ax-factory Inc. will continue the following initiatives:

① Increase the number of Career Education Coordinator colleagues Career Education Coordinators (*1) are specialized professionals who support lesson creation that connects learning with society. ax-factory Inc. has been offering training courses since 2011 and has produced approximately 160 graduates. They are active in various regions, involved in lesson planning and community collaboration, serving as crucial supporters of career education. They are a very encouraging presence. To further increase their numbers, we will collaborate with multiple regions, primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area, to offer training courses in fiscal year 2026. ② Challenge ourselves to create lessons that make learning interesting To improve the lessons provided by Career Education Coordinators, we have supported the development of various teaching materials and lessons, such as educational card games. We will continue to challenge ourselves to create lessons that excite both adults and children.
