Award Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yuki Hase) is pleased to announce the "X VORDER RUNWAY," a new sensation event that fuses a fashion show and music live, transcending the boundaries between real and virtual, with the aim of creating content that Japan can be proud of on the global stage. The event will be held on September 27, 2026 (Sun) at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 1-4.

This event is the world's first and largest-scale new sensation entertainment event where VTubers, game and anime characters, and real artists will co-star, crossing over genres and dimensions.

"X VORDER RUNWAY" Overview

"X VORDER RUNWAY" is the world's first and largest-scale new sensation entertainment event that delivers dream collaboration performances by a豪華 lineup of performers from various genres and dimensions, on a spectacular stage that fuses a fashion show and music live.

Real artists, VTubers, and game/anime characters will walk the real runway wearing limited edition costumes designed by illustrator Mika Pikazo for this event.

Performers include VTubers: Suisei Hoshimachi, who established her own agency in March 2026; HIMEHINA, currently on their first solo world tour by a VTuber; Karubi Akami, Hinano Tachibana, Sara Hoshikawa; and virtual singer KAF, all gathering beyond their agency affiliations. From the game and anime world: Chun-Li from "Street Fighter 6," which has surpassed 7 million units sold worldwide. Rise Kujikawa from "Persona 4 Revival," scheduled for release in February 2027. Haruka Amami, Chihaya Kisaragi, and Miki Hoshii from "The Idolmaster," celebrating its 20th anniversary year. From the music scene: Utah (Wednesday Campanella) and Akari Nanawo. VTuber KAWAII CLUB, who is gaining attention for their resemblance to Utah, will also perform.

Fashion Design ✕ Illustration Mika Pikazo

Born in Tokyo in 1993. After graduating high school, she became interested in South American visual technology, design, and music, and moved to Brazil for about two and a half years. She returned to Japan and began her career as an illustrator. In addition to character design and illustration, she also started animation production in 2022. Her work includes "Disney Collection by Mika Pikazo," which expresses Disney works through illustrations, the Nintendo RPG "Fire Emblem Engage," designs for VTubers "Kizuna AI" and "Hakos Baelz," and promotional illustrations for the fashion brand "Vivienne Westwood."

Mika Pikazo, one of Japan's leading illustrators, will design all the costumes worn by the豪華 performers at X VORDER RUNWAY. By combining the overwhelming brilliance of each performer active in their respective fields with the new element of fashion, the designs aim to go beyond mere cuteness and allow attendees to "encounter new charms of these artists beyond boundaries," creating a unique style for this event.

The fashion designs, along with a newly drawn KV by Mika Pikazo, will be released at a later date. Please await further information.

Background of "X VORDER RUNWAY"

Anime and game characters are Japan's pride on the world stage. Furthermore, with the emergence of VTubers over the past decade, virtual characters and virtual artists are now being readily accepted by society.

However, considering their power and potential, we are convinced that they can expand their fields of activity even further. Therefore, we have decided to hold a major event where diverse VTubers, characters, and real artists, who are at the forefront of their respective fields, will "cross borders" beyond the boundaries of their genres and dimensions.

Our future goal is to transcend national borders and expand their activities to the world as a major entertainment content that Japan can be proud of.

We also aim for this event to be an opportunity for attendees to encounter new characters and artists they might not normally interact with, and to "cross borders" themselves.

We hope that this event will further energize the entire industry and lead to a future where various "cross-border" collaborations emerge. We are preparing with all our might until the day of the event.

Princess of the Land of Meat. Age: 22 (Nyan-nyan). Weight: equivalent to 3 slices of meat. The only female member of CR, joined as a VTuber in September 2024.

Haruka Amami

An idol belonging to 765 PRODUCTION. An idol who captivates many with her innocent smile and positive efforts. Loved by fans for her earnest pursuit of her dreams and her approachable personality.

Utah (Wednesday Campanella)

Joined Wednesday Campanella in September 2021 as the second-generation lead vocalist and performer. Expresses herself through various mediums including music, art, acting, and modeling.
